What you will do

• Own and deliver quarterly goals for the Acquisition & Onboarding team, leading engineers through complex, open-ended problems.
• Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics to define technical constraints and architectural trade-offs.
• Manage team operations, including monitoring, triage rotations, playbooks, and on-call support.
• Set and improve code review and design standards to foster a culture of quality and ownership.
• Mentor and develop talent within the team by providing feedback and leading by example.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada.
• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Expertise leading mobile initiatives using React Native or native frameworks (Swift/Kotlin).
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and declarative UI frameworks like React or Vue.
• Experience designing and launching scalable backend systems using Python, Kotlin, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with a global engineering team.
