Senior Managing Consultant - Corporate Finance - Transaction Advisory

Location: Boston, MA; willingness to travel up to 25%; must have legal right to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Salary: $125,000–$215,000 per year.

What you will do

• Support day-to-day activities for buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory and diligence engagements.
• Perform quality of earnings, financial trend, working capital, benchmark, financial statement, business plan, and cash flow analyses.
• Identify issues for purchase price adjustments and develop potential deal structuring insights.
• Delegate, supervise, and lead engagement activities while collaborating with internal experts, other professional firms, and client contacts.
• Lead preparation of reports, written analyses, presentations, and other client deliverables.
• Contribute to marketing, client pitches, product development, practice development, and client relationship building.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Accounting/Finance, Management, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of work experience, ideally in consulting or professional services.
• Expertise in financial modeling and analysis, particularly in Excel, including three-statement financial models, cash flows, and scenario analyses.
• Ability to manage and analyze large volumes of financial and operational data and develop insights and recommendations from qualitative and quantitative analysis.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to interact with junior and senior team members, senior management, stakeholders, and other professionals.
• Mature presence, empathy, intellectual curiosity, ability to learn quickly, strong problem-solving and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, manage multiple tasks, prioritize changing work demands, and learn quickly.
• Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills; familiarity with financial research tools such as Capital IQ or Bloomberg.
• Legal right to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

• CFA, CPA or equivalent, or technical/GAAP accounting expertise.
