TL;DR

Senior Mainframe Specialist (Mainframe/Banking): Migrating mainframe technologies from Broadcom/CA tools to alternative solutions within a banking environment with an accent on analyzing existing infrastructure and designing replacement solutions. Focus on planning and executing migrations, configuring Endevor, and ensuring seamless rollout of changes.

Location: Hybrid from Gdynia, Gdańsk, Warszawa, or Łódź (3 days/week) or Remote (Must be based in Poland)

Salary: 1100 - 1300 PLN/MD on B2B

What you will do

• Analyze current usage of mainframe software within the bank.
• Define, assess, and design alternative solutions to replace existing tools.
• Plan and execute the migration to new target solutions.
• Support the rollout of changes to ensure system stability.

Requirements

• Experience working with IBM z/OS.
• Strong expertise in Endevor configuration.
• Knowledge of mainframe and midrange scripting languages.
• Experience with Mainframe Unix System Services.
• Proficiency in cross-platform communications.

Nice to have

• Experience with CA tools such as Easytrieve, Telon, JCL Check, CA Spool, and TPX.
• Knowledge of mainframe SDLC, CI/CD, and VS Code.
• Understanding of mainframe infrastructure, including CICS, IMS, databases, and queue systems.
