Systems Engineer (Virtualization)

TL;DR

Systems Engineer (Virtualization/Cloud): Driving new business and expanding accounts by showcasing the value of data resilience and security portfolios with an accent on technical discovery, PoCs, and pre-sales support. Focus on designing infrastructure solutions using hypervisors and cloud environments to ensure data security and recovery.

Location: Must be permanently located in Poland. Remote work is available, but requires willingness to travel up to 50% across Poland.

What you will do

• Collaborate with sales to secure and expand business with end-users, Cloud, and Hosting Providers.
• Conduct web-based and on-site product demonstrations and provide technical training.
• Lead technical discovery and execute Product Proof of Concepts (POCs).
• Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM), RFPs, and RFQs based on specific customer needs.
• Perform technical compliance and competitive analysis of products within the solution.
• Coordinate pre-sales efforts with Solution Architects, System Integrators, and Professional Services.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a System Engineer or in a similar technical role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Polish.
• Hands-on experience with Hypervisors and Cloud environments.
• Proficiency in VMware, Nutanix AHV, RedHat, and Microsoft virtualization technologies.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and AWS for positioning cloud technologies.
• Ability to engage in business conversations with C-Level executives.

Nice to have

• VMCE or VMCA certification.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes platforms.
• Experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL, DB2, or SAP.
• Interest in AI, Data Security Posture Management, and LLMs.
