What you will do

• Set up and operate multi-axis CNC lathes, VTLs, and 5-axis mill-turn machines to manufacture precision shafts, housings, and assemblies.
• Optimize existing CNC programs to enhance performance, tool life, and part quality.
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications to meet strict production requirements.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections using manual metrology tools and automated touch probes.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production staff to resolve technical issues and meet delivery goals.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical or tooling problems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in machining preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience operating multi-axis CNC machines, including VTLs and 5-axis mill-turn equipment.
• Proficiency in machining steel, cast iron, and heat-resistant alloys such as Inconel and stainless steel.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, tight-tolerance machining, and quality inspection techniques.
• U.S. Person status is strictly required to comply with defense contract regulations.
