What you will do

• Machine complex components for major production programs including F-35, MQ-25, and FLRAA.
• Operate cylindrical, internal, and surface grinders to achieve extremely close tolerances and high-degree finishes.
• Execute full set-ups, including chucking and aligning irregular parts and selecting optimal wheels, speeds, and feeds.
• Inspect finished work using air gages, profilometers, and electronic gauging equipment to detect defects.
• Collaborate on work planning and problem-solving within the manufacturing cell.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or be able to relocate to Buffalo, NY.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Grind Machinist.
• Proficiency using Micrometers, Calipers, and Dial Bore Gauges.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and hold tight tolerances (typically .001 +/- .0005) using GD&T.
• Requirement: Enrollment and participation in the F.A.A. Drug & Alcohol Program is mandatory.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
