What you will do

• Perform setups and run parts on CNC lathes with milling capabilities to close tolerances and complex geometries.
• Inspect all performed work using gaging equipment to ensure reliability and performance.
• Interpret complex drawings, including GD&T blueprints, sketches, and operation sheets.
• Detect unusual conditions, deviant parts, and identify errors in blueprints or operation sheets.
• Contribute to major production programs such as F-35, MQ-25, and FLRAA.

Requirements

• Must be based in or be able to relocate to Buffalo, NY.
• At least 1 year of experience as a general machinist OR graduation from a formal CNC certification/training program.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and written work instructions in English.
• Familiarity with measuring equipment, including Micrometers and Dial Bore Gauges.
• Mandatory enrollment and participation in the F.A.A. Drug & Alcohol Program.
• Must have authorization to access U.S. export-controlled information.
