Senior DevOps Engineer (GCP)

TL;DR

What you will do

• Design, provision, and manage infrastructure primarily on GCP (GKE) using Kubernetes as the core platform abstraction.
• Build platform capabilities, internal developer portals (IDP), and self-service tooling to reduce friction for engineers.
• Develop GitOps-based automations and CI/CD pipelines using ArgoCD, Argo Rollouts, and GitHub Actions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define scalable infrastructure patterns and reusable modules.
• Monitor and optimize cloud spend using FinOps practices to improve efficiency.
• Strengthen reliability and security through improved observability, IAM design, and container security standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering with strong production experience in GCP and GKE.
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript for automation, scripting, and working with APIs/SDKs.
• Deep expertise in Terraform / OpenTofu and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) best practices.
• Proven experience with Helm, ArgoCD, operators, Kustomize, and RBAC.
• Ability to critically evaluate and apply AI tools to accelerate research and coding workflows.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to clear, useful documentation.
