What you will do

• Perform daily billing and follow-up activities to support the revenue cycle process.
• Document claims billed, paid, and settled in the appropriate systems.
• Investigate overpayments, underpayments, credit balances, and payment delays.
• Research and resolve claim rejections and coordinate with hospital departments to clarify discrepancies.
• Contact patients and third-party payers to determine causes for payment delays.
• Provide training, education, and problem resolution support to junior team members.

Requirements

• High school diploma or Associate's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in revenue cycle functions within a hospital, clinic, or health insurance environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work independently.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and comfortable in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
