What you will do

• Design, develop, and modify embedded hardware platforms using host processors running Linux or Windows (Intel and ARM-based SoCs with FPGA fabric).
• Create and maintain hardware designs: schematics, component selection, board-level architecture, and engineering documentation.
• Support PCB layout and perform design reviews to ensure manufacturability, reliability, and compliance.
• Use schematic capture, PCB layout, DRC, signal integrity, and power integrity analysis to reduce project risk.
• Plan for hardware bring-up, validation, and manufacturing needs early; incorporate requirements into designs.
• Troubleshoot and debug hardware during development, system integration, qualification, and manufacturing; support manufacturing/test teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Experience designing embedded hardware systems based on host processors with MMUs running Linux or Windows.
• Experience with Intel processor platforms and/or ARM-based SoCs with integrated FPGA fabric.
• Experience designing and modifying complex multilayer circuit boards.
• Strong understanding of digital hardware design, including high-speed interfaces, memory subsystems, processor support circuitry, and power sequencing.
• Ability to work with U.S. export control requirements (ITAR): candidates must be U.S. Persons or be prepared to secure necessary U.S. government export authorizations.
