R&D Director (Medical Devices)

Location: Onsite in Suzhou, China

What you will do

• Lead the active device R&D team in Suzhou and implement product development strategies aligned with global, clinical, business, and external partners.
• Support product development and innovation partnerships in healthcare, surgical, and interventional therapy fields.
• Manage daily R&D project progress and deliver products according to project plans.
• Plan and control project budgets, delivery costs, and personnel expenses.
• Build team capabilities and improve new product development processes.
• Lead CoE projects and coordinate collaborative work with the CoE.

Requirements

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• 20+ years of medical device development experience.
• At least 5 years of team management experience.
• Experience leading complete Class II or III product development from initiation through launch.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Strong problem-solving, influencing, motivation, and oral and written communication skills.
