TL;DR
QA Lead (Industrial AI): Establishing and leading quality assurance for an advanced Industrial AI platform combining industrial connectivity, edge computing, cloud technologies, and AI-driven solutions with an accent on test automation, manual testing, and quality strategy. Focus on building automated frameworks, validating web interfaces, backend services, APIs, distributed systems, and AI-enabled components, while defining quality gates and scalable QA processes.
Location: Hybrid role in Herzliya or Caesarea, with 1 day per week from home

What you will do
- Establish and lead the QA function across software products.
- Define QA methodologies, standards, processes, test strategies, test plans, test cases, and quality metrics.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and suites.
- Perform manual and automated testing across web interfaces, backend services, APIs, integrations, cloud, edge, and AI-enabled components.
- Collaborate with Software Engineering, AI, Data Science, DevOps, Product Management, and other stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
- Define release quality gates, track defects, improve test coverage, and contribute to performance and scalability testing.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
- Significant QA experience with complex software products and previous experience leading QA teams, processes, or quality initiatives.
- Strong hands-on experience in manual testing and test automation.
- Strong experience with Python and automated testing frameworks such as Pytest.
- Experience testing web applications, backend services, distributed systems, and end-to-end scenarios.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills are required.
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS, cloud-based applications, edge systems, CI/CD pipelines, API testing, and integration testing.
- Experience with performance, scalability, or load testing.
- Experience with Operational Technology, OPC UA, PLCs, SCADA, or Industrial IoT environments.
- Familiarity with frontend testing tools and methodologies.
