Senior Backend Engineer (AI): Building and scaling high-performance backend services, distributed systems, APIs, and integration layers for an enterprise Agentic AI platform with an accent on microservices, AI agent frameworks, and cloud infrastructure. Focus on architecting production systems, solving complex reliability and latency challenges, and driving features from system design through monitoring and optimization.

What you will do

Design, architect, and maintain scalable, high-throughput backend services and distributed systems.
Own end-to-end feature delivery from technical design and API definition through deployment, monitoring, and optimization.
Build and optimize core APIs and integration layers for enterprise workflows.
Drive architectural decisions, technical design discussions, and performance and scalability improvements.
Troubleshoot complex production issues while maintaining high availability and low latency.
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and promote engineering excellence.

Requirements

7+ years of hands-on experience as a Backend or Full-Stack Software Engineer building complex, scalable distributed systems in production.
Deep proficiency in Python, Node.js/TypeScript, Go, or Java.
Practical experience building or integrating AI agent frameworks, LLM applications, or vector databases.
Strong expertise in microservices, RESTful APIs, and message-driven architectures such as Kafka.
Experience with PostgreSQL and NoSQL or caching solutions such as MongoDB and Redis.
Understanding of AWS or GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and taking technical projects from concept to production.

Nice to have

Experience integrating complex enterprise platforms such as SAP or Workday.
Experience with Terraform, Helm, or ArgoCD.
