Salary: $230,000 - $300,000 USD

What you will do

• Execute technical accounting for business combinations, asset acquisitions, and joint ventures.
• Perform accounting due diligence and advise leadership on GAAP and earnings implications before terms are finalized.
• Manage end-to-end purchase accounting and post-close integration, including policy conforming and system onboarding.
• Coordinate with third-party valuation specialists for PPA, intangible asset valuations, and impairment analyses.
• Author technical accounting policies and memoranda and collaborate with external auditors.
• Prepare transaction-related disclosures for quarterly and annual filings.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 4+ years owning complex M&A transactions.
• Active CPA license.
• Significant Big 4 experience (National Office, Transaction/Deal Advisory, or Capital Markets).
• Deep expertise in US GAAP for business combinations, consolidation, and fair value measurement.
• Experience working at a high-growth or public technology company.
• Proficiency with accounting systems (Workday preferred) and advanced Excel modeling.

Nice to have

• Practitioner-level expertise in ASC 805, 810, 323, 321, 820, 815, 825, 350, and 360.
• Experience leading accounting for carve-outs, divestitures, or spin-offs.
• Knowledge of S-1 processes and Regulation S-X disclosures.
• Experience with novel AI deal structures such as acqui-hires or compute arrangements.
