Fabrication Mechanic - Marking - 2nd Shift Available (Aerospace)

Location: Laconia, New Hampshire, United States. Onsite, 2nd shift from 3:15 PM to 1:45 AM, Monday through Thursday.

STS Aerospace in Laconia supports aerospace manufacturing and part fabrication operations.

What you will do

• Interpret engineering drawings, factory orders, and routers to determine marking requirements.
• Apply electro-etch, laser, vibro-peen, dot-peen, and ink marking methods to parts, test pieces, and assemblies.
• Scan barcodes or manually enter identification requirements into the computer.
• Transfer ink markings onto part surfaces and prepare aluminum tags before assembly.
• Install aluminum and stainless-steel tags on parts, hoses, and tubes.
• Apply and secure shrink sleeves over markings when required.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One to three months of related experience or training is acceptable.
• Ability to stand, walk, handle materials, reach, talk, and hear regularly.
• Ability to lift or move up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Close vision and the ability to adjust focus are required.
• Consistent, reliable, and punctual attendance is required.
