Manual Weld (GTAW/TIG)

What you will do

• Read, understand, and execute simple to complex written welding instructions.
• Position, clamp, and tack-weld fabricated metal components before final welding.
• Weld and fabricate flexible and rigid tube assemblies using manual and automatic GTAW/TIG processes.
• Inspect welds for visual and dimensional conformance using magnification and borescope tools.
• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality while performing standing, walking, handling, and lifting duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or five years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination.
• Welding certifications may be required based on business requirements.
• Ability to meet 20/25 near-vision and 20/30 distance-vision requirements, naturally or with correction.
• Red/green and blue/yellow color perception is required.
• Ability to frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
