What you will do

• Design and operate real-time and batch ML decision systems for payment fraud, identity abuse, and marketplace risk.
• Integrate behavioral, graph, device, and network signals into low-latency model serving and decision APIs.
• Own the production lifecycle including data contracts, feature quality, drift detection, and safe rollouts.
• Develop AI-assisted workflows for triage, alert clustering, and post-incident learning.
• Collaborate with modelers, risk analysts, and compliance partners to balance fraud losses against customer friction.
• Create reusable decision and evaluation capabilities for internal tools and product services.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience building and operating production software and ML systems.
• Deep expertise in fraud, risk, trust & safety, or compliance decisioning domains.
• Strong production ML judgment across feature pipelines, model serving, and incident response.
• Sound judgment regarding false-positive tradeoffs and adversarial behavior.
• Must be based in the US to align with designated pay zones.

Nice to have

• Experience with graph-based fraud detection, behavioral sequence models, or anomaly detection.
• Background in building fraud operations tooling for case management and policy simulation.
• Experience with regulated financial services, model governance, and auditability.
