What you will do

• Design and deliver scalable Java-based software solutions for the Workforce Management platform.
• Own large features and services from initial concept through design, implementation, and production support.
• Optimize AI-assisted workflows, coding agents, and tool integrations to improve engineering velocity and quality.
• Drive technical excellence through code reviews, architectural guidance, and root-cause analysis of production issues.
• Mentor engineers and establish best practices for spec-driven and AI-assisted development.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in enterprise web application development.
• Expertise in Java backend development, including Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA, and RESTful Web Services.
• Proven track record of owning complex features end-to-end in an Agile environment.
• Hands-on experience with AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Richardson, TX office (Hybrid).

• Testing experience with Selenium, Playwright, or Cucumber.
• AWS cloud and CI/CD experience (Jenkins, Maven).
