Salary: $174,915 — $209,906.50 USD

What you will do

• Design and implement features and performance improvements for highly scalable distributed data pipelines on the cloud.
• Develop, maintain, and test code while conducting thorough design and code reviews.
• Collaborate with product managers, customer support, and stakeholders to ensure high product quality and scalability.
• Identify and resolve complex challenges related to system performance and scalability.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to the engineering hiring process.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure the reliability and security of the data infrastructure.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the software industry solving complex engineering problems.
• Strong foundation in designing and developing reusable libraries and backend platforms from scratch.
• Proven experience working with distributed systems and writing performant, well-structured code.
• Proficiency in an object-oriented language such as Java, C++, or C#.
• Hands-on experience with cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, K8s).
• Experience interacting with continuous integration tools like Buildkite.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of observability tools like New Relic or Grafana.
• Experience with AI tools and their practical application.
