Location: Must be based in the USA (specifically CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, KS, MA, ME, NC, NJ, NY, OR, TN, TX, VA, WA). Hybrid options available in Austin, TX and Tampa, FL. Not eligible for visa sponsorship. Not hiring within Chicago city limits.

Salary: $140,000 – $200,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop large-scale software applications using Java and Kotlin.
• Design and scale backend services for continuous vulnerability detection and CVE correlation.
• Implement design patterns to solve enterprise-level software challenges.
• Build high-availability systems running on millions of endpoints.
• Collaborate with product and detection teams to reduce mean time to remediate (MTTR).

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Java software development for product applications.
• 4+ years of experience with highly scalable software systems.
• Strong knowledge of OOP design principles and scaling data structures.
• Experience with REST service development using frameworks like Spring or Jersey.
• Relational database design and development expertise.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.

• Solid expertise in Kotlin.
