Principal Analog Validation Engineer

What you will do

• Build parametric validation plans from electrical specifications and system compliance requirements.
• Write software to configure devices under test and create automated hardware measurement sequences.
• Perform parametric measurements across process, voltage, temperature, and device configurations.
• Analyze measurement data, report pass/fail results and margins, and generate concise summary reports.
• Prepare instrumentation, scripts, and validation boards before silicon arrives on the bench.
• Collaborate with Design, Product and Test Engineering, Applications, Software, and Product Analysis teams to debug IP-related issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Minimum of 12 years of industry experience.
• Experience with high-speed and RF laboratory equipment, including oscilloscopes, BER testers, vector network analyzers, and phase noise analyzers.
• Experience with C programming, hardware setup debugging, schematic reading, and data analysis using Excel, JMP, and/or Power BI.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail when analyzing silicon, board, and software interactions.

Nice to have

• Experience with TestStand and Python.
• Familiarity with SerDes validation and Ethernet IEEE 802.3 protocols.
• Experience using AI prompting for software generation.
