TL;DR
Associate Product Engineer (Semiconductor): Supporting high-reliability IC products from silicon evaluation through characterization, qualification, and production release with an accent on analog/mixed-signal testing, electrical validation, and cross-disciplinary semiconductor engineering. Focus on performing lab bench measurements, correlating bench and ATE data, analyzing yield and characterization results, and investigating product and manufacturing issues.

Location: Palm Bay, Florida, United States; onsite position with no remote work available

What you will do

  • Support product engineering for new integrated circuits from initial silicon evaluation through characterization, qualification, and production release.
  • Coordinate engineering activities with design, test, applications, packaging, reliability, and manufacturing teams.
  • Perform lab bench testing and IC characterization using oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, and standard test equipment.
  • Collect and analyze characterization, test, and yield data to identify trends and performance margins.
  • Support characterization setup, bench-to-ATE data correlation, and product readiness activities.
  • Assist with root-cause investigations and prepare product specifications, evaluation reports, and qualification documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 0–5 years of experience in electrical engineering or semiconductor product evaluation.
  • Strong foundation in analog/mixed-signal engineering and circuit theory.
  • Hands-on laboratory experience with oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, and bench test setups.
  • Basic programming skills in C, C++, Python, or a similar scripting language.
  • Basic understanding of statistical data analysis, including mean, standard deviation, and distributions.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of power management topologies such as buck/boost converters and LDOs.
  • Familiarity with JMP, Spotfire, or custom Python scripts for semiconductor data analysis.
  • Exposure to semiconductor automated test equipment or silicon bring-up.
  • Internship or academic project experience in IC testing, silicon debugging, or electrical validation.
  • Interest in space, radiation-hardened, or high-reliability semiconductor applications.
