What you will do

• Research and select vendors to solicit quotes and issue purchase orders of medium value and complexity.
• Negotiate pricing and delivery terms for assigned commodities.
• Maintain purchase order documentation in full compliance with Contractor Purchasing Systems Review (CPSR) standards.
• Collaborate with Supplier Quality and Shipping/Receiving to resolve quality issues and order inconsistencies.
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure internal customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• US Citizenship is mandatory due to U.S. Government contract requirements.
• Must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.
• High school diploma with 3-5 years of experience, or a BA/BS in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Operation Management.
• Ability to conduct moderately complex price analysis and negotiate medium-value orders with limited oversight.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of MRP systems and CostPoint.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
