Senior AI Engineer

Location: Onsite in Annapolis Junction, Maryland; applicants must currently reside in the United States.

Salary: $114,110–$228,221 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain LLM orchestration frameworks integrating static analyzers, RAG systems, and automated testing pipelines.
• Build data preprocessing pipelines to ingest, clean, transform, and vectorize documentation, source code, and test results.
• Design database solutions for RAG architectures, artifact storage, audit trails, and metadata management.
• Collaborate with technical leadership and systems engineers to capture requirements, plan solutions, and deploy networked AI tools in secure enclaves.
• Conduct performance profiling, optimization, scalability analysis, security assessments, and ATO support for mission systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 8 years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
• Proficiency in Python, LLM integration, and data engineering.
• Experience with static analyzers, RAG frameworks, relational databases, and vector databases.
• Familiarity with Agile, Git, Jira, and Confluence.
• Current residence in the United States and onsite work in Annapolis Junction, Maryland.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Rust, Claude Code, Codex, and CI/CD.
