Inventory Control Accountant (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Establish foundational internal accounting processes as the first Inventory Accountant on the team.
• Manage operational accounting and reporting, including detailed account reconciliation and analysis.
• Own the reconciliation of inventory movements, including receipts, production consumption, transfers, and scrap.
• Partner directly with Contract Manufacturers and suppliers to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Track and reconcile inventory balances by SKU on a monthly basis across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Develop monthly unit economics analysis and forecast the financial impact of changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related business major.
• 4+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, including inventory control and month-end close.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.).
• Hands-on experience managing physical inventory transactions (raw materials, WIP, finished goods).
• English: B2 level or higher required.
• ERP experience required (NetSuite preferred).

Nice to have

• Experience working specifically with Contract Manufacturers.
