What you will do

• Perform installation, adjustment, troubleshooting, and maintenance of RF transmission lines, antennas, and other cell site equipment.
• Operate test equipment to perform corrective tasks on transmission towers, coaxial cabling, and grounding systems.
• Collaborate with RF Engineering teams to support network optimization projects and statistical analysis.
• Conduct site audits of cell sites and towers to ensure installations meet specifications and maintain safety logs.
• Coordinate with regulatory parties to ensure the tower network meets all federal FAA and FCC guidelines.
• Perform daily operational checks on all cell site RF and associated equipment.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must complete and remain a certified tower climber.
• Ability to ascend and work atop poles and towers at heights up to 200 feet safely.
• Ability to handle physical demands, including moving equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work in extreme Alaskan arctic weather conditions.
• Flexible availability for overtime, on-call, and weekend shifts.

Nice to have

• Six months of work history in telecommunications, technical, or customer service roles.
• Associates Degree in electronics or from a telecommunications trade school.
• Prior certification as a tower climber or other industry-specific certifications.
