ICT Technician (Electronics)

What you will do

• Troubleshoot and repair printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) down to the individual component level.
• Analyze ICT failure reports, schematics, and documentation to diagnose production unit failures.
• Operate and maintain ICT equipment, specifically Teradyne and GenRad systems.
• Perform component-level rework on through-hole (PTH) and surface mount (SMT) assemblies.
• Verify root causes of failures, including process defects and equipment setup issues.
• Ensure all repairs adhere to established workmanship, reliability, and quality standards.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Applied Electronics or a related technical field.
• 1-5 years of experience troubleshooting and debugging digital electronic circuits.
• Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and technical documentation.
• Proficiency with electronic test tools: Digital Multimeters (DMM), Oscilloscopes, and Frequency generators.
• Must be able to work the weekend shift: Friday - Sunday, 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Teradyne and GenRad ICT platforms.
• Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and ERP systems (AEGIS, Fusion, BaaN).
• Knowledge of data communications interfaces, microprocessors, and microcontrollers.
• Experience with Bit Error Rate Testers (BERT).
• Understanding of IPC-A-610 standards.
