What you will do

• Lead and grow a high-performing engineering team by fostering a culture of trust, ownership, and autonomy.
• Partner with engineering and go-to-market stakeholders to ensure the team solves the right problems.
• Guide technical decisions and architectural trade-offs without micromanaging the solutions.
• Identify bottlenecks and refine internal processes to automate away toil and improve efficiency.
• Provide clarity to ambiguous problems, align the team on priorities, and maintain strong execution.
• Balance sustainable, high-quality technical outcomes with near-term business needs.

Requirements

• Experience leading engineering teams in fast-moving environments with undefined priorities.
• Strong technical judgment and the ability to engage deeply in architectural discussions.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Experience managing in a remote environment, preferably with globally distributed teams.
• Strong product sense, including the ability to absorb customer input and define product functionality.
• Excellent communication skills to keep stakeholders informed and provide team context.
