What you will do

• Design and implement complex imaging, illumination, and high-power beamforming systems.
• Perform tolerance analysis and develop test/verification procedures for optical designs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to develop processes and work instructions for prototype assemblies.
• Support operations to resolve supplier and production-related technical problems.
• Create optical design concepts for new product development and advanced R&D investigations.
• Conduct hands-on experimental verification in the lab.

Requirements

• MS degree with 8+ years of experience or PhD with 5+ years in Optical Engineering.
• Expert knowledge of geometrical and physical optics and optical measurements.
• Proficiency in ZEMAX is required.
• Experience with CODE V, FRED, and familiarity with MATLAB or MATHCAD.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.
• Hands-on lab experience with refractive and reflective optical systems.
