What you will do

• Supervise daily manufacturing operations to ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
• Analyze and optimize production processes using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate a team of manufacturing engineers, technicians, and operators.
• Oversee maintenance and calibration of precision optics manufacturing equipment.
• Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and supply chain teams to transition designs into production.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, including ITAR requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
• Extensive experience in manufacturing, specifically within precision optics, semiconductors, or aerospace.
• Proven track record in managing high-precision manufacturing operations.
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with CAD software and manufacturing automation tools.
• Must be eligible to work in the US; visa sponsorship is not available.
