What you will do

• Manage, coach, and develop a team of applications engineers, including performance management and workload balancing.
• Serve as the senior technical bridge between photonics test products and customers, ensuring successful installation, calibration, and troubleshooting.
• Develop automated test solutions, libraries, and tools for chipset vendors and ODMs.
• Partner with engineering and marketing teams to influence product roadmaps and drive corrective actions.
• Own senior-level customer relationships, ensuring proactive communication and technical support.
• Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Photonics, Optical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in optical R&D, design, testing, or applications engineering.
• Prior people-management or demonstrated technical leadership experience.
• Hands-on experience with optical test instruments like BERT, CDR, and optical spectrum analyzers.
• Proficiency in C/C++ or Python for test automation.
• Must be authorized to work in the US (no visa sponsorship).
