Vendor Manager (Operations)

Vendor Manager (Operations): Managing and strengthening a global vendor ecosystem with an accent on Health & Safety and Compliance vendors. Focus on monitoring vendor performance against KPIs/SLAs, resolving operational challenges, and improving scalability of global employment services.

Location: Remote (Must be based within UTC -1 to UTC +4, specifically in Poland, Hungary, Romania, or Spain)

Compensation: Spain €40K–€50K, Poland PLN 130K–160K, Hungary HUF 10.2M–13M, Romania RON 170K–215K (Equity offered)

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day relationships with operational vendors, primarily focusing on Health & Safety and Compliance services.
• Monitor vendor performance against agreed KPIs and SLAs, tracking trends and risks to drive improvements.
• Act as the primary point of contact between hirify.global and external partners to ensure high-quality customer experiences.
• Partner with internal Legal, Product, and Operations teams to refine vendor-supported processes and reduce friction.
• Coordinate the full vendor lifecycle, including onboarding, performance tracking, and offboarding.
• Leverage AI tools and automation to increase operational efficiency within the People Services team.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Vendor Management, Partner Management, Operations, or Compliance.
• Proven track record of managing external service providers in fast-paced environments.
• Fluent English language proficiency is required.
• Must be based within the UTC -1 to UTC +4 time zone.
• Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and manage complex stakeholder escalations.
• Ability to influence outcomes without direct authority in a scaling environment.

Nice to have

• Experience within an Employer of Record (EOR), HR tech, or international operations environment.
• Experience managing vendors across APAC, EMEA, LATAM, or AMER regions.
• Proficiency in using AI tools or automation to optimize operational workflows.
• Background in managing Health & Safety or legal/risk-related vendors.
