About the Role

You will build and maintain data pipelines from ingestion through storage, taking end-to-end ownership of pipeline components. You will model and transform data for lake and warehouse environments, improve performance, and apply security and governance practices. You will collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to deliver data solutions, support data quality and availability, and improve engineering practices.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience building and maintaining production data pipelines
• Strong Python and advanced SQL skills
• Basic Scala experience or willingness to learn it
• Familiarity with DBT models, tests, and documentation
• Working knowledge of AWS or another major cloud provider
• Experience with relational databases and data warehouses
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD, and modern deployment practices
• Practical Docker experience

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines from ingestion through storage
• Take end-to-end ownership of pipeline components
• Model data using data lake and warehouse concepts and improve performance
• Apply data governance and security practices, including least-privilege IAM, encryption, and PII handling
• Support data quality, coding consistency, and data availability
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions
• Identify and propose improvements to team practices
