Senior Data Engineer (Azure)

What you will do

• Design and build scalable data pipelines to power high-impact data products across various business domains.
• Drive cloud data migration initiatives to modernize platforms using Azure-based solutions.
• Transform and optimize large-scale datasets to enable reliable reporting and business analytics.
• Collaborate with ML Engineers, DevOps, Backend Developers, and Product Managers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Contribute to engineering best practices by promoting clean code, automation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, with expertise in Data Platforms and Data Modeling.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for building production-grade data pipelines.
• Experience with distributed data processing systems such as Apache Spark, Flink, or Beam.
• Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP and Lakehouse technologies (Apache Delta, Iceberg, Hudi).
• Proficiency with relational (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (HBase, Cassandra).

Nice to have

• Experience with Snowflake, DBT, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of workflow orchestration tools such as Dagster, Airflow, or NiFi.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and applying DevOps principles.
