What you will do

• Act as the primary quality interface between the company and external manufacturing partners, including ODMs, JDMs, and component suppliers.
• Lead supplier quality review meetings and project synchronization calls to evaluate performance metrics and corrective actions.
• Perform incoming material inspections, product compliance audits, and First Article Inspections (FAI) for new products and engineering changes.
• Manage nonconforming material reports (NMRs) and generate/track Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs).
• Plan and execute supplier capability assessments and quality system audits based on ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and TL 9000 standards.
• Analyze defect trends and field quality data to drive systemic corrective and preventive actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 5-8 years of experience in Supplier Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Quality, or Quality Assurance.
• Hands-on experience with SMT, PTH, PCB assembly, and mechanical assembly processes.
• Proficiency in Statistical Process Control (SPC), root cause analysis, 8D methodology, and IPC workmanship standards.
• Experience conducting supplier audits and managing nonconforming materials.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Engineering.
• ASQ certifications such as CQE, CQA, or CSQP.
• Industry experience in telecommunications, networking, or fiber broadband.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, APQP, PPAP, and FMEA.
• Experience using SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
