What you will do

• Design, build, and support batch and streaming data pipelines on a modern Lakehouse platform.
• Develop raw, refined, and curated datasets to support analytics, reporting, and AI use cases.
• Implement data quality controls, reconciliation processes, and monitoring to ensure production reliability.
• Refactor and modernize existing data flows to improve performance and maintainability.
• Build reusable tooling and framework components to enhance platform delivery and operational support.
• Partner with engineers and data consumers to deliver high-quality data products aligned with business needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong hands-on programming experience in Python or Java.
• Good working knowledge of SQL, including troubleshooting and optimization.
• Experience with distributed data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark.
• Understanding of temporal data modeling, schema design, and data performance techniques.
• Familiarity with software engineering fundamentals including version control, testing, and CI/CD.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud or modern data platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, or Apache Iceberg.
• Knowledge of data formats such as JSON, Avro, and Parquet.
• Experience guiding implementation standards and code quality within a team.
• Ability to lead delivery for a workstream and manage dependencies.
