Senior Principal DevOps Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote within the United States, with availability during Eastern Time Zone business hours. US citizenship or a Green Card is required.

Salary: $173,000–$279,500 per year, with potential bonus and restricted stock units.

What you will do

• Define architecture and requirements for initiatives that accelerate productivity across the CI/CD lifecycle and improve security posture.
• Architect and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure internal tooling using infrastructure as code.
• Lead feature and infrastructure design while remaining hands-on in implementation.
• Manage projects from requirements gathering and planning through delivery.
• Mentor and coach engineers as a subject matter expert.
• Ensure code quality, delivery timelines, and stakeholder satisfaction.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on experience as an infrastructure or platform developer.
• Significant development experience with Python, Groovy, and Bash.
• Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure, especially AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, CI/CD tools, Git, and Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code technologies.
• Experience building the full application release cycle and administering Windows and Linux operating systems.
• US citizenship or a Green Card, plus availability during Eastern Time Zone business hours.
• Fluent English and strong writing skills required.

Nice to have

• Experience with MCP, AWS Bedrock, agentic AI, or RAG solutions.
• Computer Science degree, professional certifications, or experience with Agile practices.
• Testing methodologies, networking, security principles, databases, and application test development.
