What you will do

• Analyze and underwrite new and renewal business opportunities within the Middle Market division.
• Manage and grow a profitable, diversified portfolio while adhering to underwriting guidelines.
• Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with brokers and clients.
• Collaborate with internal partners including management, claims, and actuarial teams.
• Assist in the development of underwriting products and marketing materials.
• Contribute to ongoing reviews and analysis of underwriting practices and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–3+ years of Middle Market underwriting experience.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate financial stability and risk.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of the current insurance market and broker landscape.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
