What you will do

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of technology-led projects and initiatives.
• Monitor progress of projects led by other managers and provide mentorship to less experienced team members.
• Prioritize project selection and provide guidance on delivery strategies.
• Deliver complex IT projects, coordinating internal resources and third-party suppliers.
• Maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Manage project risks, dependencies, and resource forecasts while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Strong technical background with the ability to quickly understand complex technical topics.
• Proficiency in producing Business Cases, Project Initiation Documents, and project documentation.
• Must be based in or able to commute to Manchester, UK.
• Experience in delivering IT change within a financially regulated environment.
• Strong planning, organizational, and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Degree or equivalent qualification.

Nice to have

• PRINCE2 Practitioner certification.
• Experience with IT development methodologies such as Agile or SDLC.
• Knowledge of the financial services industry, including pensions, investments, and stockbroking.
