Location: Greater Seattle Area. Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum.
Salary: $150,931 – $230,512 (depending on state)

is developing reusable space vehicles and the TeraWave satellite communications network to provide high-speed global connectivity.
What you will do
- Design and implement simulation software for the verification of TeraWave's flight software.
- Collaborate with test leads to deploy simulation environments across software-only, HWIL, and real-time platforms.
- Work with hardware and autonomy engineers to define software requirements and behavioral boundaries across subsystems.
- Develop models to test flight software across various nominal and off-nominal operational scenarios.
- Conduct software integration and validation testing using software-in-the-loop (SIL) and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3-5+ years of experience in spacecraft, simulation, or embedded software development.
- Strong programming skills in C, C++, and Python.
- Knowledge of inter-process communication (IPC) mechanisms such as sockets, shared memory, or message queues.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, and containerized environments.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident (Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted refugee/asylee.
Nice to have
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with NASA’s Trick or cFS software architecture.
- Knowledge of orbital mechanics and propagation models.
- Experience with RTOS such as Linux, QNX, VxWorks, or RTEMS.
- Understanding of flight hardware interfaces including CAN, I2C, SPI, and RS-422/485.
