What you will do

• Define and oversee high-level technical architecture and technology stacks for accounts and portfolios.
• Develop and communicate AI adoption strategies, integrating agentic workflows and LLM-based tools into engineering practices.
• Manage delivery squads, providing mentorship to software engineers to maintain high quality standards.
• Act as the primary client-facing technical representative, building trust with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to business development through proposals, scoping, and estimation to win new work.
• Identify and mitigate project risks in collaboration with Program Managers.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in technology leadership roles within commerce, platforms, and product delivery.
• Deep expertise in MACH (Microservices, API-first, Cloud-native, Headless) and Composable architecture.
• Proven consultancy experience providing strategic technological guidance to enterprise clients.
• Working knowledge of AI/ML platforms and agentic development practices.
• Proficiency across frontend, backend, mobile, and platform engineering, with familiarity with GCP.
• Must be based in or commutable to the Greater London Area and align with the UK timezone.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with LLM-based tooling such as Vertex AI or Claude.
• GCP Professional Cloud Architect or equivalent certification.
• Certifications in MACH tools like commercetools and Contentstack.
• Experience in digital transformation and multiple industry verticals.
