What you will do

• Set the technical direction for automated test suites across web and mobile platforms.
• Line-manage and mentor QA Engineers, supporting growth via a progression framework.
• Own release confidence by coordinating QA activity, triaging issues, and tracking quality metrics.
• Define and evolve the overarching test strategy and identify improvements in tooling and processes.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and delivery leads to ensure high-quality feature releases.

Requirements

• Strong experience writing and maintaining automated tests for web and mobile applications.
• Proficiency in TypeScript or Python.
• Hands-on experience integrating test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience leading or mentoring test/QA engineers and influencing technical direction.
• Ability to architect large, maintainable test suites with minimal duplication.
• Strong experience in designing test plans and executing exploratory testing.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Appium and/or Playwright.
• Interest in exploring AI engineering for test design and data generation.
• Basic understanding of AWS infrastructure and Kubernetes.
