What you will do

• Define and own the test automation strategy for a low-latency trading environment.
• Drive the implementation of AI-powered testing tools, specifically using Model Context Protocol (MCP) with Playwright.
• Lead, mentor, and coach a team of automation engineers to foster engineering excellence.
• Represent QA in architecture reviews to ensure testability in distributed microservices.
• Design and develop advanced, polyglot test automation frameworks for API, UI, and mobile.
• Manage high-frequency performance and load testing strategies for trading platforms.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in QA automation with 2+ years in a leadership or senior mentorship role.
• Expert-level coding skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Strong background in performance, load, and stress testing (e.g., k6, Locust).
• Experience with CI/CD integration (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proven experience with AI/ML testing concepts and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Must be eligible or have legal authorization to work in Cyprus.

Nice to have

• Deep understanding of financial market concepts and trading platform functionalities.
