What you will do

• Define and own a robust, scalable, cost-effective test automation strategy aligned with release goals and long-term product vision.
• Drive AI/ML adoption for testing by implementing MCP-based adaptive, self-aware test suites in Playwright (Python) to reduce maintenance.
• Lead and mentor automation engineers (Senior/Mid/Junior), setting high coding standards and strong system-level understanding.
• Represent QA in architecture reviews to ensure testability is built into system design, especially for distributed microservices.
• Own polyglot automation frameworks across API, UI, database, and mobile with maintainable, best-practice design patterns.
• Define performance/load testing strategy for latency/throughput benchmarks and integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab CI) with containerized test environments (Docker/Kubernetes).

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on QA automation experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or senior mentorship role in a FinTech/Forex or high-transactional platform environment.
• Expert coding skills in at least one modern language (Python, Java, or JavaScript) plus strong OOP and automation pattern knowledge.
• Proven performance/load/stress testing experience using tools like k6 and Locust, including analysis of low-latency network metrics.
• Expertise integrating automation into CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and managing scalable test environments with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proven understanding or hands-on experience with MCP-based AI/ML testing concepts (adaptive testing, self-healing driven by system context).
• Experience integrating specialized AI/ML tools to improve testing intelligence and coverage; strong financial domain understanding and data integrity/precision requirements.
