TL;DR

Head of IT (Corporate IT/Infrastructure): Building and owning the internal IT function from the ground up with an accent on scalable operating models, identity access management, and compliance. Focus on centralizing Google Workspace, automating the employee lifecycle, and preparing the company for SOC 2 Type II and SOX readiness.

Location: Hybrid; Must be based in or within reasonable commuting distance to Delray Beach, Florida

What you will do

• Establish, centralize, and own the internal IT function and scalable operating model for a global company.
• Manage Google Workspace as an organizational platform, including security controls, admin roles, and third-party integrations.
• Automate the full employee lifecycle (onboarding, role changes, offboarding) across HRIS and identity platforms.
• Implement and govern identity and access management using SSO, SAML, SCIM, and least-privilege standards.
• Oversee vendor relationships, contracts, licensing, hardware/software procurement, and departmental budgeting.
• Drive SOC 2 Type II compliance and establish the foundation for future SOX-readiness.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with company-wide ownership of Google Workspace (security, audit logs, and integrations).
• Experience building Corporate IT or IT Operations within a startup or scale-up environment.
• Strong expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and privileged-access governance.
• Proven ability to create processes and documentation that support SOC 2 Type II or similar audit requirements.
• Experience with full-lifecycle device and asset management, from procurement to retirement.
• Must reside within reasonable commuting distance to Delray Beach, FL to work onsite as required.

Nice to have

• Administration experience with BambooHR or comparable HRIS.
• Proficiency with endpoint management tools like Kandji or Intune.
• Experience with Okta or other major identity providers.
• Knowledge of Google Vault, DLP, and advanced Workspace security.
• ITIL certification or practical IT service-management experience.
