IT Engineer (Corporate IT)

TL;DR

IT Engineer (Corporate Infrastructure): Building and maintaining secure corporate IT infrastructure for a high-growth AI lab with an accent on identity management, device fleet security, and office networking. Focus on implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for SaaS platforms and managing full-lifecycle employee technology support.

Location: Onsite in New York, NY (Monday through Friday). Requires travel to San Francisco approximately one week per month.

Salary: $190,000 - $300,000

What you will do

• Provide primary onsite IT support for New York employees, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
• Manage the employee lifecycle including onboarding, offboarding, and hardware procurement.
• Administer Okta for identity and access management, SSO, and application integrations.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Git for SaaS platform management.
• Oversee New York office infrastructure, including ISPs, firewalls, and physical security systems.
• Manage the macOS device fleet using MDM tools to ensure compliance and security.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT engineering, systems administration, or corporate IT.
• Must be able to work onsite in New York Monday through Friday.
• Experience with identity management, SaaS administration, and endpoint management.
• Working knowledge of Git and version-controlled operational workflows.
• Ability to travel to San Francisco for approximately one week each month.

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform for managing Okta or other SaaS platforms.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or APIs for operational automation.
• Deep administration experience with Google Workspace, Slack Enterprise, and GitHub.
• Experience with Kandji MDM and Brivo access-control platforms.
