What you will do

• Manage a caseload of Small Claims Track cases, ensuring all court deadlines are met.
• Analyze evidence to develop and execute initial case strategies regarding liability and quantum.
• Conduct telephone negotiations with clients, defendants, and insurers to reach appropriate settlements.
• Draft court documents and witness statements, and coordinate with Counsel.
• Maintain accurate case management, billing, and reporting systems.
• Guide defendants through the litigation process and set clear expectations.

Requirements

• Established experience in law through further education or professional practice.
• Previous file handling experience within a law practice or insurance company.
• Good understanding of the Highway Code and basic Road Traffic Act principles.
• Basic knowledge of the Court Practice Rules.
• Must be able to commute to the Bolton office for a hybrid working arrangement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for professional legal correspondence.
