What you will do

• Lead the development of complex modules and drive technically challenging solutions with full ownership.
• Guide and mentor a small team of 3-5 mechanical design engineers.
• Coordinate the identification and documentation of product and project requirements.
• Perform feasibility studies and develop technical concepts, including material selection.
• Execute detailed design, system integration, and configuration management.
• Specify and realize qualification, integration, and production tests.

Requirements

• Master's degree with extensive experience in mechanical engineering.
• Proven ability to technically lead engineering teams and advise management.
• Deep knowledge of complex sub-modules and their interaction within a larger system.
• Must be based in San Diego, CA, US
