Lead Financial Analyst (Medtech)

TL;DR

Lead Financial Analyst (Corporate FP&A): Developing annual operating plans and providing financial support for new product development and corporate functions with an accent on strategic decision-making and financial reporting. Location: Hybrid (Libertyville, IL, US) - Minimum 4 days per week in office

Salary: $96,000 - $140,000 yearly

What you will do

• Partner with business unit leadership to enable informed decision-making through consistent analysis and insights.
• Lead monthly review meetings and close reporting processes to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to measure business progress and provide market insights.
• Lead annual planning processes, including AOP and projections.
• Standardize financial reporting templates and automate processes using Power BI and advanced analytics.
• Collaborate across departments and global projects to support organizational goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting with 8-12 years of related experience.
• Must be based in or able to work in Libertyville, IL (hybrid, 4 days/week).
• Deep expertise with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Power Query.
• Experience with SAP and BPC.
• Strong financial modeling skills and ability to navigate complex formulas.
• Ability to provide recommendations to senior leaders and executives.

Nice to have

• CPA or Master's degree in Finance.
• Experience in the medical device industry.
• Experience with OpEx planning.
