What you will do

• Develop electrical system drawings and models based on project scope and client RFPs.
• Create detailed construction documents for electrical power systems under the supervision of Senior Engineers.
• Coordinate drawings and models with HVAC, controls, fire protection, structural, and architectural disciplines.

Requirements

• Associate or technical degree from a design, drafting, or BIM program.
• 3-5 years of electrical power design drafting/modeling experience.
• Strong proficiency with Revit models, families, templates, and clash detection tools.
• Familiarity with the National Electric Code and municipal codes.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Irvine, CA.

Nice to have

• Experience with power model tools such as SKM and EasyPower.
• Design experience in AC/DC distribution, standby generators, UPS, grounding, lighting, and fire protection.
